Upskilled credentials
How your wallet works
Your wallet is where every certificate and badge Upskilled has issued to you lives, for as long as you need it. Here is what it does and how to use it.
Signing in
No password
Go to your wallet and enter the email address your certificate was sent to. We email you a link; open it and you are in. The link works once and expires after fifteen minutes, so ask for a fresh one whenever you need it.
You stay signed in on that device for about three months. Signing out ends every session, on every device.
Your credentials
What the cards mean
Each card is one certificate or badge, with its seal, the course, and when it was issued. The line beneath says where it stands:
Current is a certificate that stands today. Valid until a date means it will need renewing. Expired means that date has passed; the certificate is still genuine, but no longer shows current competency. Revoked or Superseded means it has been withdrawn or replaced by a corrected copy, which appears as its own card.
Sharing
LinkedIn and Facebook
Add to LinkedIn profile puts the credential in the Licenses and certifications section of your profile, with the details filled in. Share on LinkedIn and Share on Facebook open a post with the verification link already in it, so anyone who sees the post can check it is genuine.
If you post about it, tag @Upskilled so our team can celebrate with you.
Downloading
The PDF
Download PDF gives you the certificate exactly as it was issued. It is the same file that was emailed to you, so it never changes, and you can download it as often as you like.
On your phone
Google Wallet and Apple Wallet
Add to Google Wallet saves a pass on an Android phone, and on any phone signed in to your Google account. Add to Apple Wallet saves one on an iPhone; open this page on the iPhone itself to add it. Each pass shows the course, your name and the dates, and its QR code opens the public verification page.
A pass follows the certificate. If a certificate is ever withdrawn or replaced, the pass moves to your phone's expired passes on its own.
Verification
What others can see
Every certificate and badge has a public page, reached from the QR code printed on the certificate, from a shared link, or from the pass on your phone. It shows your name, the course, the dates and whether the credential still stands, and it lets anyone confirm the credential is genuine. It never shows your email address, and search engines are asked not to index it.
Another email address
Old and new, together
Studied under a work address you have since lost? Sign in with the address you use now, then add the old one from the bottom of your wallet. We email that address a confirmation link, and from then on credentials issued to either address appear together.
Need help?
We are here
If something looks wrong on a certificate, or a link does not arrive, get in touch with Upskilled and mention the course and the address you studied under.
